1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Cares.AI uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.

It is designed to help you understand what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them — including your rights under Quebec's Law 25.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your preferences and collect basic usage information.

Cookies do not give us access to your computer or any information beyond what you choose to share with us.

3. Required Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function correctly. They cannot be disabled.

  • cares_cookie_consent_v1 — Stores your cookie consent preferences so you are not asked repeatedly. Duration: 1 year.
  • NEXT_LOCALE — Remembers the language you selected so the site displays in your preferred language. Duration: Session / 1 year.

4. Optional Cookies (Analytics)

These cookies are disabled by default and are only activated after you give explicit consent.

If you opt in, anonymous analytics cookies may measure pages visited, session duration, and referral source. No personal identity is recorded.

Note: This analytics functionality is not yet active. Consent is collected in preparation for a future analytics integration. Duration: up to 13 months.

5. Your Choices

Under Quebec Law 25, you have the right to control optional cookies. You can change your preferences at any time:

  • Click the "Cookie Settings" button at the bottom-left of any page to open the consent panel.
  • Toggle analytics cookies on or off, then save your preferences.
  • Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any subsequent visit.

6. Third-Party Cookies

We do not currently load any third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, or social media widgets that set their own cookies.

If this changes, this policy will be updated before any such cookies are placed on your device.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable legal requirements.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
